Stefano Ricci was born in 1966 in Bologna, lives in Hamburg.

Depositonero, centoventidisegni (Mano ed. e Fréon éd., 1999) e Depositonero/02 ( Infinito ed., Fréon éd., e Bries ed., 2002) collect a selection of works. In 1989 publishes his first illustrated book, Dottori (Metrolibri), from which follow seguiti Ostaggi nello spazio (Salani, 1994), Don Giovanni (Salani, 1995, selected at BIB, Biennale dell’illustrazione di Bratislava), Il magnifico libro del Signor Tutto (E. Elle, 1995) e Lamioche (Edition Demoures, 1999).
