The work, entitled ‘Scenes within us </ strong>’ </ em> inspired by her filmography, is part of the project Artist’s Book edition 2013. < / Strong> </ em>
Each artist’s book is a unique and unique body is the drawing inside, touching, sober and almost Franciscan.
The first of a new series of books edited and produced by the Tricromia Gallery.
A new project going against the trend, to make the book more material and unique, which underlines the dissent towards a superficial usability. The Artist’s Book is made by the Artist, and so a container, a medium, to be freely customized has been made available to the latter. The work it contains is a single and unique body is the specimen inside it, Sine Nomine .

Simone Massi </ strong> with her drawings, with her animations, transports us to a world that belongs to her and which is also mysteriously ours, where she manages to show us what we otherwise risked losing. Thus, thanks to him, we enter a place of lost memories, of distant wonders, of suspended moments, of sudden revelations, of connections with dreamed images. He does not take us by the hand, he does not accompany us: rather he allows himself to whisper to us that perhaps we have lost something, that a shred of memory could reassemble a piece within our mosaic of sensations and emotions that we always carry with us, that guides our life. (Luca Raffaelli)
Simone Massi opens this experimental path, other Artist Books will follow, (Tullio Pericoli) each will be a unique specimen, and it will be its user – the collector who chooses it – to decide its destiny, making it a painting or the treasure chest, according to his wish.
