Virginio Vona

The artist, Roman of birth and adoption Parisian, has a common story with many Italian artists who have found fortunes and awards only after moving abroad. The exhibition curator, Luca Raffaelli, writes: “Virginio was one day without anything. But nothing really. Roman of the Tufello, worked in the general store carrying the cassettes. In that area dominated by the gasometer in Rome. How to say, an object of his own. When it is over there is the void. No prospect. Even mom is dead. What remains of me in Rome? Nothing. I have a girlfriend in Paris and one big dream: draw. What do I do? I go? I go. So? So.

Valentina Vallorani

Tomorrow in the battle think of me

curated by Antonello Tolve
Ut pictura poësis. This phrase of Horace, born to define the encounter between painting and poetry, is perhaps the happiest person to describe and decipher Valentina Vallorani’s recent work, his labyrinthine and lively duel with the surface, his narrative by means of intuition and lightness, its delineating shapes flying out and that seem to shelter in a world of daydreams …

Tricromia was created in 1990; since then the gallery has hosted, discovered and promoted illustrators and designers, artists and sculptors with a love for the “simple” art of drawing but also with a light-hearted and playful spirit (this too very much a part of art).  Mattotti, Altan, Pericoli, Toppi, Gipi, De Loustal..

Collectors will have at their disposal at cost-price valuable works. Every week there will be some pleasant surprises for you
