The title refers to Alain De Botton’s book “Essays in Love” considered one of the most intriguing literary journeys in the labyrinth of the love story. The photographic images created by the artist play with love and death with refined and pungent irony, imagining sex, in agreement with Plato, as an attempt by Man to recuperate in sexual intercourse that unity that the Gods, at the time of Zeus, had broken out of envy, thereby splitting human beings into two exact halves.
With a preface by Tiziano Scarpa.
